Bilt Mastercard Blue
Bilt · Mastercard · $0 annual fee
What you get with the card — tap a row for details.
1. You pay through Bilt. Enter your landlord or mortgage servicer in the Bilt app and pay with the card. Bilt sends them a normal check or ACH transfer — your landlord does not need to participate and never sees a card.
2. There is no transaction fee. Paying rent by card normally costs 2–3% through a third party, which wipes out any rewards. Bilt charges nothing, which is the entire reason the card exists.
3. Your rate is tiered by your other spending. Housing points scale with how much you put on the card outside of rent — the more you use it for everyday purchases, the higher your housing rate climbs, up to 1.25 points per $1. Use the card only for rent and you earn at the bottom of the scale.
4. There is no longer a cap. Bilt Card 2.0 removed the old 100,000-point annual limit on housing. If you pay $3,000+ a month, that change alone is worth more than any other benefit on the card.
5. Or take cash instead. You can opt for the Bilt Cash track — 4% back on everyday purchases — instead of earning points on housing. You pick one track, not both.

Bilt Card 2.0 — the 100k rent cap is gone
Bilt replaced its single card with three tiers (Blue, Obsidian, Palladium) and removed the 100,000-point annual cap on housing points. Rent earning is now unlimited, and the old “5 transactions a month” requirement is history.
$100 Bilt Cash just for opening
No spending requirement — the $100 credit posts on your account open date.
Blue is a rent card, not a spending card
At 1x on everything else, Blue is meant to be paired with a stronger everyday card. Use it for housing, use something else for groceries.
